Do’s
Brush after each meal. This is arguably the most common piece of advice, and one that you should attempt to follow as often as possible. Brush at least twice a day if you can’t brush after every meal. This will keep bacteria at away while also keeping your smile healthy and dazzling. Brush your tongue to eradicate microorganisms that may be present.
Floss every day. Flossing is one of the most important daily dental hygiene practices, aside from brushing. Brushing will never completely remove all food. Regular flossing helps to keep your teeth and gums healthy, as well as your breath fresh.
Replace your toothbrush immediately. Replace your toothbrush every three months or so, as a general guideline. When the bristles begin to break down, you know they’re no longer effective and it’s time to replace them. If you acquire the flu or a cold, you should replace your brush.
